Alcor

The ALCOR tomato is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid of pink color, intended for cultivation in greenhouses and open ground with support. The plant is moderately vegetative, medium-leafed, with medium-length internodes, ensuring good ventilation. The first truss forms above the 9th-11th leaf and contains 4-5 fruits. Fruits are flat-round, weighing 220-250 grams, dense, malinov-rose in color, without green spot at the calyx, and not prone to cracking. Ripening occurs approximately on day 106 after full emergence.

The hybrid is distinguished by high stress resistance, good fruit set under insufficient light, as well as under high and low temperatures. It is resistant to such diseases as leaf spot (cladosporiosis), fusarium and verticillium wilt, gray leaf spot, tip and root rot, and tomato mosaic virus. Commercial yield is about 5.5 kg per square meter. Flavor qualities of the fruits are excellent, and their transportability and marketability are at a high level.
