The tomato variety 'Tsarskoye Selo Giant' is a mid-season salad-type variety suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The plant is indeterminate, compact, reaching a height of 120 to 150 cm. Leaves are long and green, inflorescences are complex. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to train the plant into a single stem, removing suckers and lower leaves, and staking the plants several days after planting, and pinching the growth point at the end of the vegetative period. The fruit of this tomato has a flat-round shape, medium density, and slightly ribbed surface. Its color changes from green in the immature stage to deep red upon full ripening. The weight of a single fruit varies from 250 to 350 grams, with the number of fruits exceeding six. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and aromatic, making them ideal for preparing fresh summer salads. The taste of the fruit is rated as excellent. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 110 to 119 days.
