Description
The fruits of Tomato Cherry Ira have an oval-cuboid shape with a characteristic 'nose' and a deep red color. The weight of one fruit is 30–35 grams, with 10 to 35 fruits per cluster, ensuring high plant productivity. The fruits have unique flavor qualities, making the tomato valued both fresh and for whole-fruit canning and pickling. Harvesting can be done either as entire clusters or individual fruits.
The hybrid has high resistance to major tomato diseases, such as verticillium and fusarium wilt, as well as to gall nematodes. Additionally, the tomato is resistant to fruit cracking and heat-tolerant, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. The recommended planting scheme is 70x40 cm, with a density of 3–3.5 plants per square meter, which allows for yields exceeding 15 kg per square meter.
