CLONDAIKE ORANGE

Tomato Clondaike Orange — a mid-ripening variety with a fruiting period from germination to harvest of about 110-115 days. The plant is determinate, forming a powerful compact bush about 1-1.2 meters tall with short internodes and weak leafiness. For optimal growth, it is recommended to support the plant on a stake and prune it up to the first flower cluster. Leaves are potato-type, which is characteristic for this variety.

Tomato fruits have a flat-round shape with slight ribbing, colored bright orange-yellow. The weight of one fruit varies from 150 to 400 grams, and the flesh is juicy, fleshy, and tender. High sugar and carotene content gives the tomatoes a sweet and rich flavor. Due to the dense structure of the fruits, the variety is resistant to cracking and well-suited for long-distance transportation, as well as for long-term storage in cold cellar conditions.

Tomato Clondaike Orange is well-suited for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 12-14 kg per square meter, and up to 3.2 kg per plant. These tomatoes are widely used fresh in salads, as well as for making juice and various sauces. Additionally, they are valued for their dietary and therapeutic properties.
