DUSHCHKA

The tomato variety Dushchka is a medium-early determinate hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is compact, reaching up to 60-70 cm in height, with well-leafed, spreading bushes forming several complex clusters heavily laden with fruit. The variety has moderate suckering requirements, simplifying care and promoting high-quality yield.

The fruits of Dushchka are large, round, smooth, and firm, with an intense red color and a weight ranging from 150 to 250 grams depending on growing conditions. They possess excellent flavor qualities, making them suitable for fresh consumption as well as for pickling and canning. Due to their firm flesh and resistance to mechanical damage, the tomatoes withstand transportation well, which is especially important for commercial cultivation.

The variety exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including alternaria, bacterial spot, and tobacco mosaic virus. Additionally, Dushchka is a heat-tolerant hybrid, allowing cultivation under various climatic conditions, including areas with adverse weather. For high-quality seedlings, seeds are sown 50-60 days before transplanting into the soil at an optimal germination temperature of around 23 degrees.
