Description
The plant is of semi-vegetative type with an open habit, which ensures ease of care and harvesting. The fruits have a simple and compact inflorescence type with 8–9 fruits, promoting even ripening and stable fruiting. The hybrid is resistant to a number of diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, verticillium and fusarium wilt, as well as nematodes. Moreover, FANTO is less susceptible to blossom end rot, which improves the quality and storage of the harvest.
This tomato variety was developed through long-term and systematic selection, ensuring its adaptability to various climatic conditions and stable high yield. Thanks to its combination of disease resistance, high fruit quality, and ease of cultivation, FANTO is an excellent choice for commercial tomato production in greenhouse conditions.
