Biological Architecture and Vegetative Cycle

«Liubymyi» belongs to the indeterminate growth type. Technically, this implies no limit to the main stem growth, allowing the plant to continue vegetation and fruit formation throughout the entire season. For an agronomist, this imposes specific requirements on canopy management: mandatory pruning and trellising. Controlling the growth point optimizes energy allocation, directing resources toward fruit development rather than excessive foliage.

Fruit Parameters and Phytosanitary Resilience

The flat-round fruit shape, combined with a weight of 150–250 grams, is highly efficient for both fresh market and processing. A key technical feature is its genetic resistance to late blight (Phytophthora). In high-humidity conditions and fluctuating temperatures common in the Ukrainian climate, this variety shows significantly reduced pathogen pressure, allowing for a reduction in fungicide applications.

Production Efficiency

A yield potential of 60 tons per hectare validates the genetic framework of the hybrid. The plant is highly responsive to intensive cultivation technologies but remains stable under moderate agronomic conditions, serving as a flexible, high-performance tool for commercial farming operations of any scale.
