Tomato Goldstone is a medium-early determinant hybrid intended for open-field cultivation. The plant features large dark-green leaves and simple inflorescences. Fruits are round, slightly ribbed, dense, and uniform, weighing between 85 and 115 grams. Immature fruits are green, while ripe ones turn into a rich red hue. Fresh fruits have good flavor, making this variety attractive for the fresh market.
The hybrid boasts high commercial yield, reaching 485 centners per hectare, with a commercial output of approximately 84%. Goldstone tomatoes exhibit excellent fruit setting and retain their qualities even under hot conditions, ensuring a stable harvest. The fruit stem is equipped with a joint, facilitating harvesting and transportation.
Special attention has been given to disease resistance. Goldstone demonstrates high resistance to blossom and root rot, as well as to fungal diseases such as Fusarium and Verticillium wilt (Va, Vd), foliar blight (Fol: 0, 1, 2).
