Description
The Lulu variety exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, leaf curl, bronze disease, verticillium and fusarium wilt, bacterial spot, and nematodes. This resistance makes it a reliable choice for cultivation both in open ground and protected environments. Plants are recommended to be trained on one or two stems with a planting density of 3-4 plants per square meter, which promotes optimal growth and fruiting. Due to good fruit set under any weather conditions, the variety shows stable yields — up to 15 kg per square meter in greenhouses and over 12 kg in open ground.
The Lulu tomato not only boasts high productivity but also ease of cultivation. Plants reach a height of about 1.8 meters, requiring staking and pinching to form a healthy and productive canopy. The fruits have an attractive shape — round, slightly flattened with ribbing and plump shoulders, giving them an aesthetic appearance. Due to good transportability and retention of shape, Lulu tomatoes are suitable for commercial cultivation and marketing. This variety combines early ripening, high fruit quality, and disease resistance, making it an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers.
