Mahitos

Tomato Mahitos F1 is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid of Dutch selection, intended for cultivation in greenhouses and open ground, especially in southern regions. The plant features a strong stem, well-developed root system, and a height of up to 1.8-2 meters. Each plant forms 8-9 clusters with 5-6 large fruits per cluster, ensuring high yield — up to 10-12 kg per square meter. The vegetation period is 60-70 days from transplanting seedlings, allowing for early harvest in both the first and second crop rotations.

The fruits of tomato Mahitos have a round shape and deep red color. The average weight of one fruit is 220-260 grams. The flesh is juicy, with a dense skin that does not crack during ripening and withstands transportation well. The taste is rich and sweet with a slight acidity, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and various cooked dishes. Fruits remain on the plant for a long time, facilitating harvest.

The hybrid is resistant to major tomato diseases such as fusarium, verticillium, mosaic virus, and has moderate tolerance to nematodes and cladosporella. The plant tolerates adverse weather conditions, including rain, drought, and cold, while maintaining good fruit set. To achieve maximum yield, recommended cultivation practices should be followed to avoid excessive vegetative growth and ensure uniform fruit coloring.
