MALINOVY FON-TAN

Tomato "Malinovy Fontan" is an early-maturing semi-determinate hybrid with elongated, raspberry-colored fruits. The plant reaches a height of up to 1.5 meters and requires staking and pruning for proper growth. Fruits have conical or cylindrical shapes with pointed tips, weighing 20-30 grams, and are harvested in clusters of 15-30 fruits. They feature dense skin, are resistant to cracking and splitting, making them convenient for harvesting and storage.

This tomato variety has a sweet dessert flavor with fruity notes and high lycopene content, which not only enhances the fruit's taste but also provides health benefits. Due to their density and flavor, the fruits are ideal for fresh consumption, garnishing dishes, and canning. They retain their flavor even during long-term storage, making the variety versatile for various culinary purposes.

"Malinovy Fontan" is grown using seedlings. Seeds are sown in mid-March into small containers at a depth of about 1 cm, and after germination, seedlings are transplanted into individual pots of at least 0.4 liters capacity. Transplanting to open ground or greenhouse occurs after the threat of frost. For abundant fruiting, soil loosening, regular watering, and mineral fertilization are required. The variety is resistant to fusarium wilt and tomato mosaic virus, which simplifies care and increases yield.
