Fruit weight varies from 130 to 150 grams; they are dense and very sturdy, ensuring excellent storability and high transportability. The fruits contain a high percentage of lycopene, enhancing their nutritional value. The number of locules in the fruits ranges from four to six, and the taste is rated as good, suitable for fresh consumption.
Hybrid Maricha exhibits high resistance to a complex of diseases and tolerates elevated temperatures well, which contributes to high fruit set and uniform fruiting.
