Tomato MIRANDALINA is a high-yielding early-maturing indeterminate hybrid, intended for cultivation in protected soil. From germination to the ripening of the first fruits, it takes approximately 100 days. The medium-statured plant with shortened internodes forms its first flower cluster above the 8th-9th leaf, and subsequent clusters every two leaves. The recommended planting density is 3-4 plants per square meter when forming one or two stems, which promotes optimal yield.
The fruits of tomato MIRANDALINA have a bright red color and a flat-round shape, with a mass ranging from 100 to 120 grams. When cut open, the tomatoes are 3-4-chambered with a sugary consistency. In simple clusters, they form an average of 6-8 high-quality fruits. The taste qualities of the fruits are excellent: they are sweet, juicy, and aromatic, making them suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and preparing various tomato products.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), verticillium wilt (Va, Vd), fusarium (Fol), bacterial spot (Pst), and gall nematodes (Ma, Mi). In addition, MIRANDALINA is heat-tolerant and drought-resistant, allowing successful cultivation under various climatic conditions.
