Description
MOPS fruits have an ideal round shape and bright glossy red color. They are small, weighing 30 to 40 grams, and form clusters over 20 cm long, bearing 16 to 18 tomatoes upon ripening. For ease of harvesting, it is recommended to thin clusters to 10-12 fruits. The fruits are highly firm, do not crack, juicy and tasty, with a sugar content of about 7.5 on the Brix scale. Due to their size and attractive appearance, tomatoes are ideal for whole-fruit canning and make an excellent table decoration.
The MOPS hybrid demonstrates high resistance to major tomato diseases such as mosaic virus, verticillium, fusarium, cladosporiosis, and nematodes. This makes it a reliable choice for both professional and amateur cultivation. Additionally, the fruits tolerate transportation well, ensuring product preservation and quality during transit. The hybrid’s yield reaches up to 8.7 kg per square meter, confirming its high productivity and economic efficiency.
