ORANGE GIANT

The tomato variety "Orange Giant" is a medium-early or medium-ripening, tall bush reaching a height of about 1.5-1.6 meters. The plant has a strong structure but requires careful care, especially regarding fertilization and maintaining branch health. The variety is resistant to temperature fluctuations, water scarcity, and has high disease resistance, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses.

The fruits are large, flat-round in shape, with a vibrant yellow-orange color, sometimes ribbed. Fruit weight varies from 150-250 grams in more northern regions to 400-700 grams, and even up to 1.2 kilograms in southern conditions. The flesh is very dense, juicy, and sweet, possessing high flavor qualities due to a balanced combination of sugars and acids. The tomatoes are resistant to cracking, which enhances their appearance and quality.

The "Orange Giant" variety is ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for preparing various tomato products such as juices, pastes, ketchups, and dried goods. Due to their large size, they are not always suitable for whole-fruit canning, but are often used in barrel pickling. The variety has high yield — up to 12 kg per plant, making it attractive for gardeners and farmers aiming to obtain a high-quality and flavorful harvest.
