Description
The cultivation technique for this variety is relatively simple: tomatoes are warm-loving, so seedlings are recommended to be grown in nutrient-rich pots sown in early March, and transplanted to their permanent location in the second decade of May, following a 50x50 cm spacing. To accelerate growth and increase yield, young plants can be covered with transparent plastic until stable warm weather arrives. The plants do not require staking or pruning and are tolerant of light intensity, simplifying care.
The variety is resistant to diseases such as verticillium wilt, tobacco mosaic virus, and fusarium wilt, enhancing cultivation reliability. Yield is approximately 1.7 kg per square meter. 'Orange Hat' is suitable for both fresh consumption and canning, making it a versatile and convenient choice for enthusiasts who wish to grow flavorful and decorative tomatoes both indoors and outdoors.
