Description
The fruits of tomato PINK SKY have a flattened-round, slightly conical shape with distinctive star-shaped stripes running from the top, giving them an attractive market appearance. The fruit color is a vibrant pink with a natural gloss, with an average weight of about 180-200 grams. Tomatoes are characterized by good transportability, making them convenient for marketing and storage.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus (ToMV), fusarium wilt (Fol), fusarium rot (Ff), verticillium wilt (Va, Vd), as well as partial resistance to tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) and nematodes (Ma, Mi, Mj). For successful cultivation, it is recommended to train plants as single-stemmed with removal of suckers and lower leaves, and to tie them after transplanting. Sowing for seedlings should be done at the end of February – beginning of March, and transplanting into greenhouses – at the end of April – beginning of May.
