Description
The fruits of tomato Rahat are round, dense, and slightly ribbed, weighing between 180 to 250 grams. Their color turns bright red with a slight gloss upon ripening, giving them an attractive appearance. The fruits have good taste, making them an excellent choice for salads and fresh consumption. When growth regulators are used, a slight nipple may form on the fruits, which does not affect their quality. The number of locules in the fruits ranges from 4 to 6.
The hybrid possesses high resistance to several diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus (ToMV), fusarium wilt (Fol), verticillium wilt (Va), root fusarium wilt (Vd), stem fusarium wilt (Ff), powdery mildew (Ma), mildew (Mi), and powdery mildew (Mj). Thanks to these characteristics, tomato Rahat ensures a stable and high-quality yield in plastic greenhouses, achieving a market yield of up to 13.5 kg per square meter.
