Solaris

The tomato variety Solaris is a mid-early maturing type with a vegetation period from germination to fruit ripening of 105-112 days. The plant reaches a height of about 70 cm, has medium leafiness and semi-spreading form. This variety is recommended for cultivation in open ground, including direct sowing, with an optimal planting scheme of 70x40 cm.

The fruits of the Solaris tomato are bright red, flat-round, firm and fairly large, weighing from 100 to 150 g. They are distinguished by the absence of green spot at the calyx, which enhances their market appearance. Due to their strong skin, the fruits withstand long-distance transportation well, making the variety universal for both fresh consumption and processing into tomato products such as juices and paste.

The Solaris variety possesses high resistance to major tomato diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), late blight, alternaria and anthracnose.
