Description
The fruits of the Star of Siberia tomato are flat-round, ribbed, and colored in a deep red when fully ripe. The average weight of the fruits is 160 to 200 grams, and the flesh has a sweet taste and a strong aroma. The variety is characterized by high yield — under favorable conditions, one square meter can produce up to a bucket of large, juicy fruits, which amounts to about 10-11 kg. The ripening period is medium, lasting 110-115 days, and the hybrid is resistant to cold and humid conditions, enabling a stable harvest even in unfavorable summers.
Growing the Star of Siberia tomato begins with sowing seedlings in March-April at a depth of 1-2 cm, followed by pinching in the 2-3 true leaf stage. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses in April-May and into open ground in June, following a planting scheme of 40x60 cm. For especially tasty and aromatic fruits, timely fertilization is recommended. This hybrid is ideal for fresh consumption and will be an excellent choice for both experienced vegetable growers and hobbyists seeking a high-quality and abundant harvest.
