Star Gold

Star Gold is an early indeterminate cherry tomato hybrid, suitable for cultivation in protected environments, including glass and plastic greenhouses. The plants are vigorous, with a strong root system and well-developed foliage, ensuring stable and abundant fruiting. The hybrid is low-maintenance and exhibits high resistance to common tomato diseases, such as Fusarium (Fol 1,2), Verticillium (Va:0/Vd:0), and Tomato Mosaic Virus (ToMV). The recommended planting density is 2.5-3 plants per square meter, promoting optimal yield.

Star Gold fruits have a bright golden-yellow color, perfectly round shape, and average weight ranging from 20 to 30 grams. They feature a balanced, very sweet flavor with high sugar content and lack green spots or internal cavities. The fruits are firm, transportable, and resistant to cracking, making them ideal for fresh consumption and commercial use. The plants have long, often branched and double clusters, each producing up to 30 fruits, ensuring high yield — up to 2.5-3 kg per plant at a height of about 2 meters.
