STESHA

Tomato "Stesha" is a medium-early indeterminate hybrid intended for cultivation in greenhouses and plastic tunnels. The plant reaches a height of 180 to 210 cm, has a medium-leafy structure, and forms simple flower clusters with 5-6 fruits. The first flower is set above the 7th-9th leaf, which contributes to high fruit set and stable fruiting throughout the entire vegetation period, which lasts approximately 103-107 days from transplanting seedlings to harvest.

The fruits of tomato "Stesha" have an unusual heart-shaped cylindrical form and weigh between 120-130 grams. Their coloration is an interesting blend of yellow and pink: the exterior is amber-yellow with a small pink cap, while the interior reveals a pink hue. The fruits are dense, sugary, and possess excellent taste qualities, making them attractive for both fresh consumption and canning. Additionally, the tomatoes have high beta-carotene content and a long shelf life.

The "Stesha" hybrid is resistant to several diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus (ToMV), verticillium wilt (VD), and fusarium wilt (Fol 1,2). For maximum yield, it is recommended to grow the plant in trellis culture with mandatory pinching and training to one or two stems.
