SWEET BARREL

Sweet Barrel is a mid-season salad tomato variety with pink, juicy fruits that ripen in 111-115 days after germination. The plants are indeterminate, reaching a height of 170-200 cm, and form clusters of 5 to 7 fruits per cluster, each weighing about 220 grams. The taste of the tomatoes is distinguished by excellent organoleptic qualities, making them ideal for fresh consumption.

This variety is recommended for cultivation in greenhouses in the middle belt, and in southern regions — in open ground. To achieve high yields, plants should be staked and trained to one or two stems, with suckers and old lower leaves removed. The yield of this variety ranges from 10 to 12 kg per square meter, and in greenhouse conditions, it may exceed 14 kg/m². Special attention should be paid to protecting flower clusters from cracking to preserve fruit quality.

To enhance resistance to phytophthora, preventive treatments are conducted: the first treatment is applied at the end of June, followed by repeat treatments every two weeks.
