Tomato Taganrog is a mid-season hybrid intended for cultivation under various conditions, including glass and plastic greenhouses, as well as open ground. The plant is indeterminate, tall with a semi-vegetative growth type, characterized by compact simple inflorescences consisting of six fruits. The internodes are closely spaced, which promotes good leafiness and ease of care.

The fruits of tomato Taganrog have a flat-round shape and bright red salad color. The average fruit weight is about 250 grams, ranging from 172 to 284 grams. Tomatoes are distinguished by their large fruit size, uniformity, and durability, ensuring high product quality and ease of transportation. The taste of the fruits is rated as excellent, making this variety attractive to consumers.

The hybrid has high yield: in plastic greenhouses, in the second light zone, it reaches 9.3-12.1 kg per square meter, exceeding standard indicators of similar varieties. In the third light zone, with extended turnover, the yield can reach 31.8 kg per square meter. The commercial product output ranges from 87.7% to 99%. Tomato Taganrog exhibits comprehensive resistance to major diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus (ToMV), Fusarium wilt (Fol), Verticillium wilt (Va, Vd), and Fusarium rot (Ff), making it a reliable choice for professional cultivation.
