Description
The hybrid does not require pollination or intensive feeding, significantly reducing cultivation costs. It exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (strains 0-2), fusarium and verticillium wilt, leaf spot, as well as intermediate resistance to root nematodes. Due to its dense fruit structure, the fruits withstand transportation well and have good storability, which is important for commercial production.
Tomato TM 10740 F1 is recommended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses during the winter-spring period and in extended crop rotations, including low plastic coverings. Early maturity is 65-75 days, allowing for rapid harvest. Marketable yield under plastic coverings reaches 9.3 kg per square meter. The hybrid is suitable for widespread cultivation, ensuring stable and high-quality yields under various climatic conditions.
