Description
The fruits of tomato Ural are flat-round in shape, smooth, weighing from 200 to 350 grams, and in ripe condition acquire a deep red color. They are distinguished by their sweet taste and are suitable for both fresh consumption in salads and processing. Yield per plant, with proper care, watering, and fertilization, ranges from 4.5 to 5 kg, and under optimal conditions may reach up to 8 kg. The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as cladosporiosis, tobacco mosaic virus, and fusarium wilt, and also possesses cold tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in greenhouses and under cover.
Sowing for seedlings is recommended in late February to early March, followed by transplanting at the first true leaf stage and supplemental lighting. Seedling transplanting into greenhouses or plastic covers is carried out at the end of April, when plants reach an age of 50–55 days. For successful cultivation, it is important to follow a planting scheme of 40x60 cm, regularly tie plants, and pinch off the growing tip at the end of the vegetative period. Tomato Ural F1 — this is a high-yielding and resistant hybrid, ideal for regions with challenging climatic conditions.
