URALIAN DIAMOND

The Uralian Diamond tomato is an early-maturing, indeterminate variety with a maturity period of 95-100 days after germination. Plants form tall, sturdy bushes with medium-sized green doubly-pinnate leaves and complex inflorescences. The fruits are flat-round in shape, with a pink-purple color and a characteristic purple spot, weighing between 180 to 265 grams. The skin is thin, and the flesh is tender-fleshy with a pronounced sweet fruity flavor, making them especially attractive for salads and fresh consumption.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 20 kg per square meter, with 8-9 fruits per cluster. Uralian Diamond is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and in open ground, primarily in southern regions. Plants are resistant to diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporeiosis, and fusarium, which simplifies care and increases harvest reliability. For optimal growth, it is recommended to train the plant into a single stem, removing suckers and pinching the growth tip at the end of the vegetative period, leaving 7-8 clusters.

Sowing for seedlings is done at the beginning of March, transplanting — in the phase of the first true leaf, and planting in greenhouses — in May, when seedlings reach 50-55 days of age. Uralian Diamond tomatoes are versatile in use: they are excellent for canning in chunks, preparing vegetable assortments, salads, and slicing. Seeds retain viability for up to 10 years with proper storage, making this variety convenient for long-term use by both beginners and experienced gardeners.
