Description
Mironosets — a high-yielding winter triticale variety adapted to the conditions of Polissia and the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. This variety is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 8.2 tons per hectare, and medium maturation period. Mironosets has a medium protein content of about 13.5%, making it valuable for various uses.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to major diseases, such as brown leaf rust, powdery mildew, Fusarium head blight, as well as damage from the Hessian fly. In addition, Mironosets demonstrates high winter hardiness and drought resistance, ensuring stable growth and yield retention under adverse climatic conditions. It also possesses medium resistance to lodging and medium resistance to shattering.
Mironosets is recommended for cultivation on various soil types, including low-agrochemical soils and saline soils. The variety is suitable for both grain use in the bread industry and for grain-fodder use in livestock feeding, as well as for alcohol production. Sowing begins at the end of September to early October, allowing effective use of agronomic periods for achieving high yields.
