TIMIRYASEVSKAYA 150

Triticaled variety Timiryasevskaya 150 represents a new winter hexaploid variety developed at the Department of Breeding and Seed Production of Field Crops and the Lisitsyn P.I. Selection Station of RGAU-MSHA named after K.A. Timiryazev. This variety passed state varietal testing, started in 2013, and is distinguished by high adaptability and stable yield. During the research, technological and biochemical grain indicators were studied, including the protein-proteolytic complex, protein fraction composition, as well as the activity of proteases and amylolytic enzymes, which indicates high quality of raw materials for further use. Timiryasevskaya 150 is characterized by medium heading time and a long plant with an intermediate bush type. The variety grain is egg-shaped, red in color, with a 1000-grain weight of about 40.4 grams. The average protein content in the grain is 10.4%, and protein accumulation reaches 4.7 centners per hectare. The variety yield varies depending on the region: in the Central region, the average yield is 48.2 c/ha with a gain of 6.2% compared to the standard, and in the Central Black Earth region, the yield reaches 34.7 c/ha, which is 1.5% above the average standard. The maximum registered yield was obtained in the Lipetsk region in 2016 and amounted to 88.3 c/ha. The Timiryasevskaya 150 variety is recommended for grain forage production and compound feed manufacturing due to its high technological indicators and disease resistance. It shows resistance to powdery mildew, as well as medium resistance to snow mold and brown rust, which ensures crop stability in various climatic conditions. Thanks to these qualities, the variety is a promising choice for agricultural enterprises focused on efficient feed and high-quality grain production.
