Lucia F1 watermelon is an early-maturing hybrid with a maturity period of 70-75 days. The plant has medium growth vigor with a powerful vegetative mass and is resistant to diseases. Fruits have a uniform round shape, bright glossy dark green rind, and average weight of 7 to 9 kg. The flesh is rich red, crunchy, and very sweet, with sugar content at 12-13%, ensuring high taste quality.

This watermelon variety is well adapted for long-term transportation and maintains its commercial quality for 15 days after harvest. Thanks to its resistance and qualities, Lucia F1 is suitable for cultivation in open ground, as well as under a thermal screen and mulch. The recommended planting density is about 7 thousand plants per hectare, and when using Cobalt or Pelops understocking — 3,5-5 thousand plants per hectare.

The yield of Lucia F1 watermelon depends on growing conditions: with drip irrigation it reaches 4 kg per square meter, and when grown on dry land — about 2.1 kg per square meter.
