Diseases and host crops: The virus causes chlorotic mottling, mosaic patterns, and leaf deformation. Major susceptible hosts include members of the Fabaceae family, such as cowpea (Vigna unguiculata), common bean, soybean, peanut, and various clover species. Symptoms often include yellowing of foliage and stunted growth, which significantly impacts the plant's physiological condition.
Biology and life cycle: The virus is primarily transmitted by insect vectors, most notably beetles from the Chrysomelidae family.
