Regarding systematic position, these agents currently remain unclassified as they lack a confirmed taxonomic identity. They could belong to various fungal, bacterial, or viral groups that have mutated or emerged in a new environment. Because the specific genus or species is unknown, these conditions are often treated as physiological anomalies until pathogenic agents are isolated and identified via molecular testing.

These unidentified diseases affect a broad spectrum of agricultural crops, manifesting in diverse symptoms such as chlorosis, vascular wilt, premature leaf fall, or irregular necrosis. The impact on crops is highly variable; in some cases, the disease remains localized, while in others, it can cause catastrophic yield losses, especially if the plants have low natural resistance to environmental stress.

However, observation suggests that factors such as extreme weather, poor soil structure, or high humidity often trigger or accelerate the progression of these symptoms.
