The four-tuberculate weevil (Amnemus quadrituberculatus) is a member of the Coleoptera order and the Curculionidae family. Known for its distinct dorsal tubercles, this insect is a significant pest in agricultural settings, particularly where leguminous crops are grown intensively. Its cryptic behavior makes it a challenging subject for field scouting.

The primary hosts of this pest include clover and lucerne (alfalfa). It is known to inhabit fields where these crops are established for several years.
