Antitrogus is a genus of scarab beetles (family Scarabaeidae, order Coleoptera). These insects are recognized as major soil-dwelling pests, commonly referred to as "white grubs." Their larval stage is characterized by a subterranean lifestyle, which makes them difficult to detect until significant damage to the root systems of agricultural crops has already occurred.
