Description

The avocado seed weevil (Conotrachelus perseae) is a member of the order Coleoptera and the family Curculionidae. It is a highly specialized pest that targets avocado trees (Persea americana), posing a significant threat to avocado production globally, particularly in regions where the host plant is widely cultivated.
