The tiger weevil (Cyphocleonus tigrinus) belongs to the order Coleoptera and the family Curculionidae. The primary hosts for this weevil are plants from the Asteraceae family. While adult weevils feed on the foliage, the true impact on the plant's health is caused by the larval stage.
