Desmoris

Desmoris (лат. Desmoris) is a genus of weevils belonging to the Curculionidae family. These insects are classified within the order Coleoptera and are known for their distinct snout-like rostrum. They are recognized primarily as specialists that feed on various plants within the Asteraceae family, making them a subject of interest in both agricultural and ecological research.

In an agricultural context, Desmoris is known for its impact on sunflowers and related wild species.
