The leaf-footed bug (Leptoglossus bidentatus) belongs to the family Coreidae. These insects are recognized for their distinct leg morphology, featuring leaf-like expansions on the hind tibiae. As members of the order Hemiptera, they are equipped with piercing-sucking mouthparts that allow them to feed on the sap of various plant tissues, making them significant agricultural pests in many regions.
