Nysius plebeius

Nysius plebeius belongs to the order Hemiptera and the family Lygaeidae. Often referred to as a false chinch bug type of insect, it is a significant pest in various agricultural regions. This pest affects a wide range of host plants, including vegetable crops, cereals, and industrial crops. Both nymphs and adults cause damage by feeding on plant tissues.
