Description
Systematic position. The Rutherglen bug (Nysius vinitor) belongs to the order Hemiptera and the family Lygaeidae. It is a highly mobile insect known for its tendency to swarm in large numbers, making it a significant challenge for farmers in various agricultural regions across the world.
Host plants. This pest is a polyphagous insect, meaning it feeds on a wide range of botanical hosts.
