These microscopic organisms are commonly found in soils rich in organic matter and play a complex role in soil ecology, sometimes acting as opportunists that impact plant health.
Crops and economic impact. This nematode species primarily affects the rhizosphere of vegetable crops, including potatoes and greenhouse-grown solanaceous plants.
