Siphanta hebes is a species of planthopper belonging to the family Flatidae within the order Hemiptera. These insects are easily recognized by their wedge-shaped profile and wings held tent-like over their bodies, which allows them to camouflage effectively on the foliage of host plants. Native to Australia, they are widely known in agricultural and ornamental sectors as significant sap-sucking pests.
