Seemann's hydrangea

Seemann's hydrangea (Hydrangea seemannii) is a distinctive evergreen climbing vine belonging to the Hydrangeaceae family. Unlike many other hydrangea species that are deciduous, this plant retains its lush, leathery foliage throughout the year, making it an exceptional choice for year-round vertical gardening in suitable climates.

Native to the mountainous forest regions of Mexico, this plant thrives in environments characterized by high humidity and moderate temperatures. In its natural habitat, it scales trees and rock faces using aerial rootlets, which act as a structural support system, allowing the vine to achieve significant vertical growth.
