Shining Koeleria

Shining Koeleria (Koeleria splendens) is a perennial grass species belonging to the Poaceae family. Recognized for its resilience, this crop is valued in agricultural systems as a key component for pastures and hayfields in regions where environmental conditions are too harsh for traditional forage grasses.

The native distribution of this species spans across Southern Europe and the Caucasus. It is naturally adapted to dry, stony slopes and arid steppes.
