The fruits of the Melitopol apricot have an oval shape with slight lateral compression and a medium weight of 43 to 46 grams, which may reach 55-65 grams under yield regulation. The flesh is juicy, dense, orange-colored with a thin, delicate yellow-orange skin. The surface of the fruits has a slight reddish-purple blush and a light downy covering. The taste is wine-sweet with a distinct aroma, free of tough fibers in the flesh. The stone is medium-sized and separates with slight effort.
