OLD LOCK RED

The Astra of the Old Lock Red variety is an annual plant with tall, slender and elastic stems reaching a height of 60-70 cm. This variety is distinguished by large double flowers of peony shape with a diameter of 10-12 cm, which possess a delicate aroma and an elegant appearance both in open form and in a cut. Bushes are evenly covered with dense double inflorescences, creating an impressive and dense floral cover.

A feature of the variety is the exceptional density and strength of the flowers, thanks to which they are not affected by rain and long maintain freshness in a cut form. Astra is sun-loving, blooms from July to October, withstands weather changes well and has moderate drought resistance. The plant does not require shelter for winter and is characterized by good cold resistance.

Sowing seeds is recommended in March-April for seedlings, and planting in the soil - in May-June to a depth of 0.5-1 cm. The vegetation period is 80-100 days. Thanks to its decorative qualities and resistance to weather conditions, the Astra of the Old Lock Red variety is excellent for growing on flower beds and using in bouquets.
