FEDOR

FEDOR is a winter barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) variety characterized by medium maturity and resistance to lodging. It belongs to grain-forage crops and is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, including the Stavropol Krai. Plants reach a height of 100-105 cm, while the mass of 1000 grains varies within 35-46 g. The protein content in the grain ranges from 8.9% to 14.3%, ensuring good quality of fodder raw materials.

The variety has high resistance to powdery mildew, loose and solid loose smut, as well as brown and dwarf rust. Sensitivity to septoria and helminthosporium is moderate, requiring control during cultivation. Thanks to its resistance to diseases and lodging, FEDOR demonstrates stable yields, which in the North Caucasus region reach an average of 48.9 centners/hectare.

FEDOR is a multi-row two-row variety, which contributes to its adaptation to various growing conditions.
