SU JULE / ZU JULI

SU JULE — a high-yielding winter barley variety of intensive type, intended for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine. This six-row barley exhibits good tillering and plant height ranging from 75 to 87 cm. The vegetation period is approximately 262 days, enabling the variety to successfully develop and form stable yields. Potential yield reaches 90–95 ц/ha, while average yield under real conditions is 60–70 ц/ha. The thousand-grain weight is about 49.5 grams, indicating large and high-quality grain. The SU JULE variety possesses high drought and cold resistance, as well as genetic resistance to most aggressive disease strains, reducing the need for frequent plant protection applications. Thanks to these characteristics, barley demonstrates stability and reliability under various climatic conditions. It responds well to fertilizer application and foliar feeding, allowing maximum potential to be realized and obtaining a high-quality feed product with protein content of 11.2–12.0%. SU JULE barley is especially suitable for cultivation after cereal crops, making it a convenient element of crop rotation. Seeds are supplied in 25-kilogram bags, facilitating storage and use. This variety is an excellent choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable yields of winter barley with good feed qualities and resistance to adverse factors.
