Septima F1 cabbage is a high-yielding late-maturing hybrid of white cabbage developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan. This variety is characterized by strong growth and adaptability to various climatic conditions, including adverse ones. The vegetation period ranges from 120 to 135 days, allowing for a late but stable harvest. Heads are round, compact, with a bluish-green hue and a waxy coating on the leaves, giving them an attractive appearance and aiding in long-term storage without quality loss.

The plant develops a strong root system and a rosette of covering leaves with a salad green color and a slight bluish tint. The average head weight varies from 3.5 to 7 kg, with yields reaching over 100 tons per hectare, one of the best in its segment. The variety exhibits high resistance to fusarium and other diseases, as well as no tendency to cracking, ensuring product integrity during transport and long-term storage up to 4-5 months.

Septima F1 cabbage is versatile in use: it is ideal for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and pickling due to its tender flavor and high dry matter content. For maximum yield, it is recommended to grow it in open fields, under plastic covers, or in greenhouses at a planting density of 25-35 thousand plants per hectare. Due to its uniform ripening and high market appeal, this hybrid is an optimal choice for farmers and vegetable processors.
