Description
The 'Czar' cherry fruits are large, weighing from 10 to 15 grams, with a dark red, almost black color when fully ripe. The berries have a slightly elongated round shape, dense and crunchy flesh, and a sweet, juicy flavor. Due to its high commercial value and good transportability, this variety is popular among gardeners and consumers.
The variety is characterized by high frost resistance, disease resistance in fruit trees, and excellent drought tolerance. 'Czar' cherry begins fruiting in the fourth year after planting, with yield steadily increasing each year. For ensuring high and stable yield, it is recommended to plant pollinator varieties nearby. Grafting on a Colt rootstock promotes early and abundant fruiting.
